Tên gọi “Air Hitam Dalam” chỉ con sông thăm thẳm sẫm màu gần đó. Địa điểm sở hữu hệ sinh thái gồm nhiều loài động thực vật, đặc biệt là các loài chim, đồng thời có hai tháp quan sát nối với nhau bằng cây cầu treo dài 210 m. Các điểm ngắm chim ở đây có mái che và nối với nhau bằng lối đi bộ lát gỗ dài 1.163 m.
