Start your day bright and early at Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm, which is the world’s first tropical butterfly and insect sanctuary. Within its ground lies two worlds; The Natureland living outdoor gardens and The Cocoon indoor discovery centre. The Natureland is a living garden vivarium, and it is the largest butterfly and dragonfly garden in Malaysia with 15,000 free-flying butterflies at any one time. Meanwhile, The Cocoon is a state-of-the-art facility where technology-guided interpretations enhance the visitor experience. Formerly known as the Penang Butterfly Farm, Entopia is more than just an attraction – it is nature’s largest classroom and discovery hub, where butterflies and insects are free to come out and play.

World’s Longest Water Slide with a Guinness World Record (Escape Theme Park)

Time to gear up for some high anxiety adventures! Slide down the world’s longest water slide with a Guinness World Record title. The record-breaking water slide stretches a whopping 1,111 metres long and meanders down a 70-metre slope through natural forest and tree canopies in a four-minute joyride. Then, take your best shot on the Aerobat by swinging through the air. Glide in between the trees high above the ground on the Flying Lemur zipline. Fun water slides await, such as the Family Twister, Mega Drop, Super Looper, Speed Racer, Tubby Tunnel, and Tubby Rapids. World’s Steepest Tunnel Track (Penang Hill)

End your day on a high note at Penang Hill. Completed in 1923, the Penang Hill’s funicular railway is home to the world’s steepest tunnel track, measuring 258 feet with a steepness of 27.9 degrees. A favourite among travellers far and wide, visitors can admire George Town’s nightscape views while being surrounded by the hill’s 130-million-year-old ancient virgin rainforest. A quaint dinner at Penang Hill’s David Brown Restaurant and Tea Terraces is the perfect place to cap off the night.

World’s Highest Altitude Stressed Ribbon Bridge (The Habitat Penang Hill)

Tucked away in Penang Hill, The Habitat is home to The World’s Highest Altitude Stressed Ribbon Bridge – the Langur Way Canopy Walk. With multiple viewing platforms spanning some 230m in length and standing at 40m above the forest floor, the Langur Way Canopy Walk allows visitors to experience previously unattainable views of the 130-million-year-old virgin jungle’s canopy and the Andaman Sea.

World’s Highest Ropes Course Challenge (Sky Bridge)

Situated at Level 65 of KOMTAR, the world’s highest ropes course challenge is not for the faint-hearted. Sky Bridge high-altitude sports adventure course features a series of adrenaline-pumping challenges while offering a stunning bird’s eye view of George Town and beyond! The ropes course stands at the height of 239 metres! Typically, it will take you at least an hour to complete the full course.
