25 Apr Balik Pulau Roundabout
The one and only Balik Pulau Roundabout is a must-see landmark. Small in size yet big in history, this historical monument was built in 1882 by Chinese tycoon Koh Seang Tatt to commemorate the then-Governor of Malacca Sir Frederick Weld’s visit to Balik Pulau. In the past, this iconic landmark served as a public water pump as well as a water trough for elephants, cows, and horses. The roundabout marks the convergence of three main roads from different parts of the island.
