Laksa at Laksa Janggus Kak Timah, Balik Pulau

Based in Balik Pulau, Laksa Janggus Kak Timah began serving Malay-style Assam Laksa under the shade of a Pokok Janggus or cashew nut tree. In contrast to the Chinese style Assam Laksa with its distinctive tamarind-tang, Laksa Janggus is gentler in flavour as it does not contain the strong-smelling Hae Koh or prawn paste.
