Joss stick is a type of incense fundamental to Chinese rituals, often burned as a form of offering and worship. The late Mr. Lee Beng Chuan was known as the world’s oldest joss stick maker. Mr. Lee used to make joss sticks at his pre-war shophouse near the Goddess of Mercy Temple. His family has taken over his joss stick-making business now. A rewarding experience for heritage lovers.
